No sound/music in The Lion King

Post by GaussTek »

Hello.

I'm using Snes9x 1.52 fix4 for Windows (using Vista HP 32bit).

As the topic title says, there is no sound or music in the game. I tried messing with the sound settings and changing the sound drivers without avail.

Then tried snes9x 1.51 (the D3D build by OV2) and it works pretty fine.

It is just me (do I need to change some option) or it's just a bug? If so, just reporting it :P

Thanks!

Hmm... that's interesting.

Could you post your sound card info?

Sorry for the late reply.

I have an Acer notebook and the sound card driver shows as Realtek HD Audio ALC888S.

It's worth mentioning that this is the only game in which I have a sound issue. Everything else I've tried works just fine (that's why I thought it was a bug). Wonder what's special with this game.

But anyway, for this game I use the 1.51 d3d release for now.

Thanks!

Does anyone want to take a peek at the audio info for that game?

Sorry for bumping and the late reply, but I found a "workaround".

If I open the game, at first I don't get any sound, but then if I *reset* the game, the sound and music work just fine.

Just informing the results =)

It's the same issues with the early Star Fox 2 beta... some games have a issue like that.
