Fast-Foward Deactivated

Post by RabidRaccoon »

Hey there.

I seem to be having trouble using the Fast Forward mode on Snes9x (ver. 1.60 x64 on Windows 10). When I select "Tab" I just get a message popping up saying "Fast-Forward Deactivated".

It always worked before on previous versions I was using (1.54 being the last one) and I've made sure "Skip Rendering" has a value in it in Emulation Settings. I can't even get the emulator to run over 100% using the "+" key. Even if a value over 100% is displayed, it still only runs at 100%. I can reduce it below 100% with "-" successfully. I've even got the rewind function working by entering a MB value for it, but just not Fast-Forward.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

You've probably assigned tab to both "Fast forward" on Page 1 as well as "Fast-forward toggle" on Page 2. Then one cancels the other.

As for changing the speed higher than 100%: you've probably enabled vsync, in this case increasing the speed doesn't work.
