Snes9x won't open after upgrade to Windows 10

A few days ago I upgraded my PC from windows 7 to windows 10. I opened Snes9x and it wouldn't load at all, it worked completely fine before. I've tried everything, uninstalling Snes9x and reinstalling it manually, resetting my PC, and running in administrator or compatibility mode. It worked once when I opened it in program files, but stopped after that. I'm ready to move to a different emulator at this point, any help?
