Save State Problem

Post by GameGuy »

Hello Again All!

So just playing Super Mario All Star + Super Mario World. I accidentally hit a button that loaded a save state and overwrote ALL my progres that I made. Is there any way to undo? I tried restoring previous version, but no previous version available.

I DO NOT WISH TO PLAY ANYTHING OVER AGAIN SOME THINGS ARE SO HARD.

Thank you!!

snes9x creates a savestate named [romname].oops when unloading a ROM (including during shutdown).

if you:
1. closed snes9x or switched ROMs anytime between creating that savestate you accidentally loaded and actually reloading said savestate, and
2. HAVEN'T closed snes9x or switched ROMs after making said mistake
then the relevant .oops file is at least newer than the savestate you loaded, so you'll lose less progress. the oops file can be loaded manually via File -> Load Game Position -> Select File

good luck!
