Loading oops file

Post by crimsontide34 »

Windows 10 x64 bit
Snes v1.54.1

So I've been playing FE4 recently, beat a chapter saved the game, but then I accidentally hit load game position instead of save game position. I closed out of the game to reload but the recent save file was lost the only one that shows up is from the previous save file. The only thing I can find is an .oops file. Now I know there have been threads on this before on how to load them by renaming, but I'm a little confused on how to do so since the file name already has the title of the game and adding a .00# to load a game position doesn't work, or maybe I'm doing it wrong.

Any help would be appreciated!

don't add .00# to the end; replace .oops with .00# and then make sure the file is in the same folder as your other save states.

Alternatively you can use the most recent testbuild which includes an option to select a state file to load.
