NES Classic controller issues

This may have been posted before, but I got a Wii Classic Controller Pro and when trying to play SNES games, the keys aren't corresponding. I have tried to remap and change the config, but I am fairly new and bought it like this, so I was hoping that someone out there could help me fix the issue.

From everything I have read, it should just be plug and play, but Ive been at this for about two hours and can't get it. Ive also had a hard time finding resources about fixing it.
