loading saves from diffrent version

hi

I previously used x86 version now using x64 as I have a 64bit laptop now.

I have copied all save files from older version to the newer x64 save folder. I cant load any saves as the x64 version doesn't acknowledge save files.

is there a way around this so that I am able to continue my previous saves?

there's no difference in battery saves; if they're not working, your save path is probably defined wrong.

save states aren't guaranteed to be compatible across versions; however, i haven't seen anything to suggest the 32-bit and 64-bit builds generate different output. if they're the same version number, again, the save path is probably defined wrong.
