Snes9x gx Wii emulator won't load

Hi,

I've been trying to set up my Wii for the first time. Managed to sort out homebrew and download Snes9x but when I try to load it, it times out after a few seconds and returns to the Wii homepage (the channel is there, fine).

I've looked on the SD card and am not sure what I should be seeing on there. There is the channel installer folder with a "boot.dol" file - should there be more than this? I don't see any separate emulator folder or a rom folder.

I tried downloading the emulator onto my PC and then onto the SD card but this makes no difference.

Anyone know what is wrong?

Problem solved. Downloaded the channel thinking that was all you needed. Didn't realise you could scroll down for more channels and the actual emulators
