SNES gamepad suddenly not working

Hey there,

I have been playing on my snes9x emulator with an SNES gamepad that I configured with it, and it had been working great until today when suddenly the only button that will work is the start button and my characters in all the games just run forward with no pressure on any buttons on the gamepad or the computer. I reconfigured the gamepad to another usb outlet and I'm still having the same problem. Any advice is appreciated! Thanks!

Late to reply,but they Controller may be defectiv.
