Setting Superscope from command line not working (25062014)

Like the title says, I'm having trouble getting superscope to work when starting snes9x from the command line. I'm using testbuild 25062014 on windows 8.1 64-bit. I'm trying with the following command

snes9x.exe -port2 superscope "D:\Games\Yoshi's Safari.smc"

It will load the game, but superscope will not work. When I look at the input settings, Use Super Scope is checked, but it's actually still set to Use SNES Joypad (tested this with another game). I have to actually select superscope again before it will work properly. This happens with the 64-bit exe also.
