I'm having a strange problem with the graphics in Snes9x. When I have scaling mode set to 2x-4x a weird diagonal line appears through the whole screen. It is strangely outside of the SNES native resolution and doesn't seem to happen with the 4:3 aspect ratio option. Does anyone know what would cause this or how to fix it? I can sorta fix it by lowering the height of the Snes9x window, but then a vertical line in the center appears in the center.
Thanks!

Strange Diagonal line with 8:7 aspect ratio.
Re: Strange Diagonal line with 8:7 aspect ratio.
the diagonal line is an artifact of the method of screen rendering in a 3D mode. modern graphics cards compose virtually everything out of triangles; you're seeing the seam between the two such triangles that compose the rectangular "screen," which are slightly out of alignment.
i'd say it's either a driver issue or an off-by-one coding error. check for driver updates.
