Strange error on Snes9xGx

Strange error on Snes9xGx

Whenever I try to load a save state or create one, the emulator will crash and show garbled text on a black screen and it sends me to the home menu. Strangely, it only happens with one ROM. Anyone else have the same problem and is there a way to fix it?
