Snes9x Euphoria or mecm will not save state or save my game

Like my title says.. I really want to play act raiser. I have tried so many versions of snes9x euphoria and the ty mecm version and it refuses to save my game. Act raiser says that my game has been saved but I'll turn my psp off and come back later and the save it gone.. I have to restart the game. I have a psp 1001 6.60 pro-c and I can see save files in the SAVES folder in the snes9x folder but they won't load at all. I'm at a stand still here.. I'm getting tired of restarting the game and was hoping someone could help me find a solution of at least a version thats compatible with act raiser and will allow me to save my game. Thanks!
