"Pixellate" shader doesn't work

Post by Spooniest »

Neither DirectDraw nor Direct3D work for me, so I'm using OpenGL. I have an nVidia GeForce 7300 LE as my gpu.

It was working before, and now it doesn't. Is there another configuration setting (likely one of the video settings) that it is incompatible with?

What version are you using? What pixellate shader? Did it work with an old version, or with the version you are using? Have you tried any of the testbuilds?

I am running WinXP sp3, with an nVidia GeForce 7300 LE.

I still don't know which pixellate shader you mean. Is it a .cg file? A .shader file?

I'd suggest you try the most recent testbuild from here and use this pixellate shader: pixellate.cg
You need the appropriate cg dlls in the snes9x dir from here.

I tried it, and while it did give me a picture, it would not animate. It was frozen solid until I turned off the shader.

Not enough VRAM on my system maybe?
