I'm playing Chrono trigger on my HTC desire, and I'm at a part where I have to catch this blasted mouse. I have to do this in order to continue the game.

The problem is that the controls are no where near responsive enough to catch him.

Is there a cheat to make the mouse not move? I have no idea how to keep playing the game if I can't catch it.

Cheats aren't available for the Android version yet.

You'll have to do something about your controls. Have you tried using a wiimote yet? (If wiimote controls are slow to respond, turn frameskip up to 1.)

I tried to mod the control settings, but no luck.:? I still can't do it. :s
I guess I might try a WiiMote, but I don't have one.

Guess I'll save the game in the ROM, and try and play it on my PC. :D

Thanks for the help and the suggestion about the Wiimote. I hdidn't know I could attach one!!

Just an update. I have a PS3 with SNES9x on it. I plugged in my android phone into my PS3, and loaded the ROM in the PS3 Emulator.

I saved my progress in the game save spot on my HTC Desire with SNES9x EX, and was able to load it on my PS3 to the same area.

I caught that mouse right away, and saved my progress in the game. When I loaded the game ROM on my HTC desire on SNES9x EX, to my surprise it just loaded back to the original save before I caught the mouse....

Just to make sure it wasn't messed, I loaded the ROM on my PS3, and the save spot in the ROM loaded to the spot after catching the mouse. Just to make sure it was the SNES9x EX emulator that was messed, I save in save slot 2 in the game ROM, and on my phones emulator it still only shower the save point before catching the mouse..

Am I missing something?

Did you copy over -every- file? If you only copied the ROM from the PS3 back to your phone, the saves won't be included. What you have to do is copy the .srm file - and it might be kept in a different place than the ROM itself on the PS3.

Ahh, I figured out the problem!!! So the PS3 was saving to the srm file ok. The problem was that SNES9x EX does auto save states.

So those files were interfering somehow, and not allowing me to load the saved progress from my PS3.

All I had to do was delete the two saved state files in my phones ROM directory, and I was able to start the game where I left off on my PS3 (after catching the mouse!!!) :D

I want to thank you very, very, very much for all your help and info.
