How do you load .oops files?

Post by Catharsis »

I was playing Chrono Trigger just a moment ago, and when I used savestate, snes9x crashed on me. Now my savestate is only 0kb big, so I'm guess it got overwritten with a corrupted savestate file. I was doing some reading and from my understanding the .oops files are like autosaves, so I was wondering how I go about loading one? Did a google and forum search and couldn't find any info on how to use them. Thanks!

Nevermind, I figured it out. In case anyone finds this thread in the future with the same question, all you have to do is rename the .oops file to match the name of the savestate file you lost.
