So... I'm sitting here playing ChronoTrigger cause I haven't played it in years. Long enough to forget the entire story line and I'm feeling hella nostalgic as I feel like I'm almost playing the game for the first time ever. I just got sent to 53,000,000 B.C. after fighting Magus with Debo and Frog, about 5 beginner hours into the game. I'm going through the story line and am now fighting in Tyrano Lair to get back at Azala for burning down Laruba Village. I decide to get up and take a break so I go to hit escape to save the state and accidently hit F1 which loaded what was in the first state instead. It threw me AND my save progress back to where it was when I originally quick saved! What the heck!! 3 hours of play time GONE because the last time I used it was when I was right about to fight the Dragon Tank! AAUUURRGGHHHH!!!!!!!!.............

Oh well.. I really just wanted to vent that out and that I wanted to complain about the save/load state feature that has been utterly useless to me pretty much ever since I started using emulators so many years ago... And I'm not really worried about doing all that all over again since I used to play the game so much that I'd be able to beat the game in about 2 hours start to finish without new game +. Plus I can throw some cheats in there to make it even easier.

Thanks for reading, have a good day!

good gawd wow X(

btw Chrono Trigger is one of my favorite RPGs :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Use the PSX to USB adapter w/ a original PS1 controller w/o joysticks.. for SNES and genesis emulation!
I MACRO to the following buttons special functions..
PSX-Buttons = special functionality
L2 = Fast-forward
R2 = SAVE SAVE-STATE (lol for a quick way of doing things)
F4(keyboard) = LOAD-SAVESTATE

I shouldn't mention it here but I use "ZSNES" most of the times.. lol.. ehh ;p

If you've been playing for more than 5 minutes and have not saved snes9x will create a .oops savestate on quit/load, which you can load by renaming it to one of the .00X files.

Also: this is the wrong section for your post.
