Enabling IPS patches (aka soft-patching)

You must name the game the same as the patch. Example:
game.smc
game.ips
In addition, the header requirements must be met (no header or have a header), you put the ips patch in your saves and/or game folder, and to be sure, the checksum should be good (white text upon loading the ROM before it's patched).
