That option is gone and never coming back. Gaussian interpolation is part of correctly reproducing SNES hardware and affects the DSP output, so removing it would hamper accuracy. And if you're that guy who posted a while back asking the same thing, then no, coming back in 3 months to ask again isn't...

You've hit the bug in GTK+ talked about here: http://code.google.com/p/snes9x-gtk/issues/detail?id=59 . It triggers anytime Preferences saves data and causes the sound input rate to be set too low. If you can get your packager to pull from git ( http://github.com/snes9xgit/snes9x ) to get an updated...

Re: Input rate slider broken (v1.53, Linux, gtk, amd64)
Hi, I registered here to see if anything can possibly be done about this bug here: http://code.google.com/p/snes9x-gtk/issues/detail?id=62 I have two linux boxes with snes9x-gtk-1.53 that have this problem. Basically, the input rate slider can't be moved, and whenever you hit "apply" for ...

Re: Secret Of Mana sound bug
Hello. I have a sound problem playing secret of mana. When I try to attack, background music is frequently muted for a moment by weapon sound(ex. sword sound 'shrrik', etc). Not being muted entire music but some melody. So I tried to change sound setting but nothing changed. It's not a big bug but ...

Re: Kernel update to 2.6.38 causes strange full screenn issu
I have been running Terrinigma for the PAL SNES and have noticed garbled audio and slow down when text is displaying with sound effect distortions. I recommend this be investigated. We're probably switching to byuu's SMP for the next release, so that might fix this. I'll see if I can reproduce that...

Re: ./snes9x-gtk: error while loading shared libraries: libp
I get this error in Fedora 14 when loading snes9x-gtk: ./snes9x-gtk: error while loading shared libraries: libpng14.so.14: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory I built the binaries against libpng 1.4. It wasn't my intent to be rude, as I now retract what I said. I just don't know why I have to use a normal SD versus SDHC. Like I said, it worked on earlier versions. I have a tendency to take advice and criticism the wrong way and if there's anything is coming to get back at me, I sure as heck des...

Re: Super Mario Kart & Super Soccer Glitches
2. Super Soccer Ball glitch. When running up or down straight with ball, the ball flickers badly and glitches. This does not happen on the real game, as I own it! Ok, I'm not familiar with this game, but I tested it, and it works fine here. The ball is perfectly stable with no flicker whatsoever. P...

Re: Super Mario Kart & Super Soccer Glitches
1. Super Mario Kart On two player mode, player 2 on the bottom screen has NO audio at all. So any skidding round corners, going over item blocks, firing shells etc there is no sound. Player 1 has full sound. Anyone else seen this? Works for me. SMK seems to use the left stereo channel for player 1 ...

Re: Russian translation
Hi, I've made Russian translation of GTK interface. To where I may send my .po file to be included in snes9x-gtk? Sorry I missed your message, but I've been neglecting this thread a bit. You can attach the .po to an issue at the github repository at: https://github.com/snes9xgit/snes9x/issues There...

This is actually a bug with permissions that should have been fixed in the latest snapshots. Unfortunately, you'll need to update to a snapshot in the ppa or wait for a new Snes9x release to keep this problem from recurring. You can try to temporarily fix this by running chmod -R 0755 ~/.snes9x Also...

Kega Fusion probably has a an aggressive dynamic resampler, which would work actively to prevent buffer overflows and underruns. This is an approach none of the Snes9x ports have yet adopted but may offer in the future. Your glxgears info indicates that the drivers aren't doing a very good job keepi...
