I checked the specs on this device and it appears to use an old CPU (same as the original G1 from 2008) so performance isn't going to be great. You'll just have to wait until more optimizations are in place. :)

This works very well for RPGs like the final fantasy games, but I'm having problems controlling action games. I'm using a Nexus S, which is supposed to have multitouch support (up to five different points), yet when using your app, it seems like I can only press two buttons at once. For example, in...

Hmm, I do have some code in the app that fixes permissions automatically for you but I think it broke in a previous update. Just fixed the issue and it should work again in the upcoming 1.3.29. As for fixing it manually, you need to know what directory the tutorial you followed had you copy to ROMs ...

Check that the "mobile" user account is the owner and has write permission to the directory the game is in. If you created it while logged in as "root" then it won't. You'll need to issue the command "chown mobile X/" where X is the directory the game is in.

Re: Problems with classic controller on iOS

Is wii classic controller oficially supported on ios?. Another cuestion. If i make changes on settings, they aren't saved. Classic Controllers are supported on iOS and if works in the menu it should definitely work in-game. Try checking your Wiimote Key Config and see if the buttons are properly ma...

I'll probably start working on cheat support after I've gone through the list of features planned for version 1.4.0 on my site :)

You should push 1+2 before starting the scan and you'll know the Wiimote is in discoverable mode if the LEDs stay flashing for an extended amount of time. In case the app fails to pick up the Wiimote in the first scan, you can try it again from the menu as long as the LEDs are on. Also check the dem...

Seems like this may be happening due to some buffering of bluetooth events by BTstack when a lot of inputs are applied during a large frame skip. I'll do some more investigation and see if I can find a solution.

i just checked my cydia installed package, Mobile Substrate was installed. and i use the save and load state very often, not very sure if the delay is something related to this issue. It'll be installed due to BTstack, but are you running any other packages that use it like SBSettings, Backgrounder...

The main reason this port doesn't use 1.5 is its audio & video rendering code is over twice as slow which would cause major performance issues on all ARM devices. I plan to try and get the all the front-end code compiling with both 1.43 and the 1.5x series in the future so you'll be able to run ...

Cannot find this update for IOS version? And is there any update about the wiimote controller in this version? Sometimes it has a 1-2 sec delay. Thanks It'll be out this week, was able to slip the Android version out a bit early :) About the Wiimote controls, I'm still looking into the issue but ha...

Hmm, I'll check the APU code, think I saw a way to adjust the pitch of samples in there. It's probably something related to the 1.43 audio core which was replaced with the more accurate snes_spc in 1.5.

Here's a quick preview of Snes9x EX 1.3.27. Besides updated on-screen control graphics, you can now set the L/R buttons to a couple different layouts and also move the Start/Select buttons to the sides of the screen (good for tablets). The new screenshots are up on my site.

This is a known bug the Droid X's OpenGL driver when using small non-square textures and is fixed in Android 2.3. Now you know why Google doesn't enable GPU rendering for standard apps until Android 3.0 ;)

That's odd, are the games running significantly faster than on my preview video that ran on an iPhone 4? The audio has to run at a specific speed to match the iPhone's refresh rate so if it's really running too fast/slow you should hear skips. Also, I test the app on my iPhone 4 before releasing and...

I sent a build with the hack enabled to the user who first reported the problem via email and am waiting to hear back if there's any improvement. If so, I'll make it an option that can be toggled since it slows down performance on other phones.

Well, I could implement the glFinish() hack mentioned on the site but apparently it still won't work 100% of the time, so first I'd like to find out if the problem is still present in 2.3. All the posts about the bug mention 2.1 & 2.2 so hopefully that means it's fixed in the OS update. Please r...

I've had another user report this a few days ago in an email and it appears to be an OpenGL driver bug. Unfortunately he's not able to root the phone and tell me if the bug is fixed in 2.3. Which version of Android are you running and can you update to the latest?

There seems to be an issue with how the x10 Mini Pro reports keyboard events. It sends a key release after every press, preventing the app from detecting if a button is held down and making the input only work on menus/text. I don't have this device myself, but someone previously reported there's a ...
