Chances are your phone is picky about where programs can write.

I have a Tablet called Velocity Micro T103 with Android 2.2.1 Froyo and a MIPS JZ4760 Processor that isn't compatible with the SNES 9X EX. I was wondering if there was anyone willing to work on porting this over or if they have any information on how to do it I am willing to tinker with it to make ...

Unfortunately, we don't have access to the emulator Nintendo's using for the VC - so we have no idea what sorts of optimizations it's using to get full speed on more resource-hungry SNES games. It's always possible there'll be some optimization that fixes everything, but our wonderful developers are...

I don't use the SNES9x EX internal wiimote driver (though I should probably give it a try). I use an app I picked up called WiimoteController from the Android Market. There's a little bit of lag between pressing a button and the game reacting, and it does prevent you from using the keyboard while it...

In order to run the Super Game Boy, SNES9x would have to include a full Game Boy emulator. So, the short answer is no. The long answer is, there is ONE Super Nintendo emulator that I know of that does Super Game Boy emulation - and that's BSNES. Otherwise, you're better off picking up a Game Boy emu...

My guess is that there isn't actually enough room in the cartridge's save memory to just keep the state of the game - so it compresses aggressively. The SNES doesn't exactly have hardware that's well-suited to data compression, so it takes a long time. Another example of this is Mario Paint - it tak...

I found a form on Chilling Effects (which Google is on friendly terms with; they send them all their DMCA takedown notices) for DMCA counter-complaints: http://www.chillingeffects.org/dmca/counter512.pdf And on some exploration, found out a little legal gem. If Google receives a DMCA takedown notice...

What Tukuyomi said is correct. ZSNES is very sloppy with its emulation; it takes shortcuts, and for that reason it runs faster - but it needs all sorts of timing hacks to play a lot of games. SNES9x has timing that's much closer to an actual SNES, and also tries to imitate how an SNES behaves in a l...

The patch probably relies on incorrect emulator behavior. For more information, read Byuu's article on why accuracy matters.
http://byuu.org/bsnes/accuracy
Chances are, if you made a modified SNES cartridge and put it in a real SNES, it still wouldn't work. Just use it with ZSNES.

Actually, the Wiimote behavior you're talking about is pretty common for homebrew apps. If the system crashes, it takes down the whole subsystem with it - it's not like the Xbox, where there's the dashboard running separately from the game. The Wii stupidly has the entire system taken over by whatev...

This has to do with how Google deals with takedown notices. The first time a notice comes in, they drop it, no questions asked. This is a crappy policy for many reasons, but there it is. You can send Google a form letter requesting that you be re-listed. Google -claims- they'll keep your app up afte...

Frameskip: Auto -should- make it so that the frameskip adjusts to let the emulation keep up with how fast it's supposed to run, and remove any input lag. There's probably some obscure differences with the Xperia Play. I'm not sure we'll get a fix until Rakashazi has one to test on. :/ As for the Gal...
