Is the software different on that computer? It could be a version of software conflict. How about posting the specs of both computers.

I think you can ask on gamefaqs.com's SNES Zelda 3 boards. There are regularly questions there about Parallel Worlds.

I think computer software would have to be wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more developed before you could really consider soemthing like this relistically (at least for this to be automatic, which would be best). Perhaps someday, but still years down the road at the earliest.

Well, it might be something with your computer. First, does this just happen with MArio RPG, or with any game, and, if only Mario RPG, try other "demanding games", like Super Mario Kart, or any other games typically resource-demanding, and see if it also affects those. I had once solved su...

You may also want to play around in the options and display menus to see if something there could fix it. You may have to downgrade your video output options to meet your running conditions.

I think tasvideos.org has already done some of the things you have or are thinking of doing. maybe you are a member there and already know this, but if not, you should check what extras they've already got done, so you don't waste time and effort redoing them.

I think you'll need to download the version at tasvideos.org. Those types of features were added for it to make it as powerful as it is (the originals here don't include much in the way of extras). Its readme will also likely show those additions, though you'll probably find them on yoru own anyhow.

Well, I know the modified 1.43 at tasvideos.org has FADV. Hit the slash key. If 1.43 can do what you want, you may just use that version.

Rather than purchasing a game controller, the current SNES9X has a FADV feature, right? You could simply use that, hit the A button for 1 frame, then resume at normal speed. Simply purchasing a controller may not necessarily fix the problem anyhow. Issues with emulators running properly on the many ...

Hmmm...neat. I'll ask around and see if anyone around here is willing to give away their XP if they upgraded to something after it. Of course, since I'm dealing with ordinary people, actually putting my request in simple terms that they can understand will likely be a huge challenge.

Do you mean the one on this site, or the one at tasvideos.org? Either way, I think to keep the numbers of different versions small, there needs to be a huge amount of collaboration among the people at snes9x and tasvideos.org, as well as perhaps any other mega-emulator places invovled with such powe...

Actually, quite a few power users love to check out the individual sound channel, myself included. Now would there be any easy way to do the channel toggling without affecting emulation (in other words, emulate the sound as usual, but don't let that channel be played)? Sorta like how you mute sound ...

I agree that ZSNES's sound sucks. Back in the day, there were only 2 reasons I'd use it over SNES9X-individual sound channel toggling (does SNES9X do this yet?), and movie recording, which has been done since 1.43, I think. if you do want want something as power-hungry as BSNES, you might try downlo...
