I am trying to compile snes9x-1.51-src-gtk-73 on a PS3 running Xubuntu 9.04. Compilation fails on filter_hq2x.cpp-- gcc runs out of memory!! Both gcc 4.3 and ppu-gcc (gcc 4.1 explicitly targeted for the Cell's PPU) fail. I'm going to try LLVM and IBM's XLC next. Any tips? Is there a clean way to rem...
