Snes9x.com

I'm using SNES9X version 1.52 for Mac. I was wandering what kind of code it uses? Game Genie or Action Code Replay? And how do I use them in the Cheat Entry window? What is Address stand for and do so for the Value? If possible can you give me some exemple or screenshots? That would help! Thank you!
