Snex9x doesn't detect my wired 360 controller MAC

Hello,
I'm using tattiebogle's 360 controller v0.12 on a wired xbox 360 controller. The Xbox 360 controller panel shows up in my system prefs and it's able to detect the controller's buttons. When I start the snex9x with a game, it defaults to my keyboard and I don't know how to change the device to use my wired 360 controller. Any help would be great, thanks!
