Seiken Densetsu 3 filter problem

Hello.
I use SNES9x 1.42 on Win2k, and when any text appears on the screen, graphics filter (like 2xSAI) switches off.
hi-res mode is switched on.
PC stats: Cel 850, 256 MB RAM, GeForce SDR.

yes, this has been known for a while. this is due to the filters only scaling and filtering to 512x448, and Hi-res is either 512x224, 256x448, or 512x448 (low res is 256x224). the filters have to scale in both directions
Seiken Densetsu 3, as well as Seiken Densetsu 2 (Secret of Mana) uses Hi-Res for the text, to fit more on screen. this disables the filters.
Now, why OpenGL is affected, I don't know.

Is there any fix for this issue? I tried the rom and zsnes and it doesnt have the same problem.

Did you actually try it? Hi-Res filter support has been available for quite some time now... Check the Hi-Res filter box in the display configuration.
