Save State naming convention?

Post by airesso »

I've been using the Android version of SNES9X quite a bit lately and it looks like it uses XX.s96 for it's save states.

Since my Android saves these to my Dropbox I'd love if I could easily hop on my PC and continue where I left off, however the PC version looks for a .XXX file. Is there any way to change the naming convention for the Android or the PC version? I'm a front/back end web programmer so well I think I could make the changes, compiling the binaries is beyond my skill set. Any help is appreciated!

The Android version is based on 1.43, so the savestates are incompatible. You could exchange the .srm files and use in-game saves (if the Android version creates those).
