How to reproduce: set "custom rom open dialog" as on in the settings menu. Load any rom, and when playing try to load another rom. The emulator hangs and the only way out is killing the process. If this is an old bug or not a bug at all, well, fuck me, it's the first time trying to use it

Disable using the Custom Rom Dialog, or search the forums, there's a testbuild of Snes9x 1.53 x64 that fixes this issue... I forget the URL though.

What operating system are you using? 32 or 64bit? Version of Snes9x? Is the text at the bottom of the window white when you load the game?
