Mac OS X Snes9X 1.5.3 (113) Tetris Attack screen flickering

Post by RenegadeX135 »

So I'm trying to play Tetris Attack with the latest release of the mac Snes9X emulator. And everytime I get to the outerworld during the Vs gameplay, the screen flickers black very rapidly.

This was not an issue in 1.5.2 or 1.5.1 - but, I already know that Tetris Attack's sound does not work 100% in 1.5.1, and I heard something about 1.5.2 messing up somewhere in Mega Man X2. BUT, that's not important. What IS important is, how do I fix this problem, or is this an issue with version 1.5.3?

Also, specs on my Macbook Pro: 2008 model, OS version 10.6.7, processor: 2.4GHz Intel Core Duo, Memory 4 GB and 667MHz DDR2 SRAM.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!!

First things first - give the newest Mac build a try.

Confirmed. This should be the issue of the core codes, not only for mac.
I'll see what's happening when I get time.

The mac port build 113 only fixes a zlib problem.
