Running and Jumping is not working

I have had this problem before on other games using snes9x. When I hold down Y to run I cannot use B to jump in any direction. I am not sure why this is happening.

Yes I am using a keyboard. Is there something really simple that I am overlooking?

Sorta. A lot of keyboards have ridiculous restrictions on what keys can be pressed at the same time. Try remapping your run and jump keys to the homerow, using the numeric keypad instead of the arrow keys, et cetera. See if any of that makes a difference.

Thanks. It made all the difference when I switch the controls to the numpad.

If you still have problems, it may be worth it to invest $15-$25 bucks in a USB gamepad.
