Quick question.

How do I remove the "Frame: XXXXX" from the game window? I can't for the life of me figure it out; I feel like an idiot.

I can hardly play games with it, it's so distracting, those yellow numbers constantly rising!

Yes I've gone through the options and I've come up empty. Help.

There's a way to do it, but I can't remember how... check to see if you're recording a game by accident.

Thanks for the reply.

I'm not, it does it on every start up. I swear to god I've gone through all the options and there's nothing corresponding to a frame progression relay.

It's especially bothering when the numbers get to such length

6052353853501345368

Across the bottom the screen in glaringly yellow.

This is silly now. It shouldnt be so hard to figure out.

Come on guys, I know everyone who's used this emulator isnt running around with yellow digits on their screen. Someone help me out here.

Before next year preferably.

There is no "Frame: XX" display in the plain snes9x release. I'm guessing you are using the rerecording version from tasvideos.org, which is targeted to tool-assisted speedrun creation.
IIRC there is a HUD sub-menu in the options menu that allows you to disable the frame display.

You're on the spot, OV2. Thanks.

Not sure how that happened, didnt even know of tasvideos.

Sorry for the hassle.

and just as a reminder, it wasn't necessary to multiple post and quote train like you did. Especially when you were putting comments like please help sometime this year. it isn't gonna get the problem resolved any faster, and keep in mind this IS an internet forum, NOT a real-time 24/7 tech support medium.

For the record, I've personally never had the issue you describe, though.

Glad to hear you resolved your issue in any case, and enjoy the emulator!
