Multiple keys

Yes, I know this has been asked to death. I lurked, and could not find an answer. I don't have the time to build my own SNES controller, and when I try to drag two or more keys to the same spot in Snes9x for Mac, it won't let me. What can I do? I really want to keep playing Chrono Trigger!
