Turning off turbo notification

Not really a bug but I would like to know if there's a way to turn off the message "Fast-Forward" when the turbo button is pressed. It gets in the way of in-game text so it'd be convenient to have it hidden. Thanks in advance!

If you press "/" I think it turns off all game text.

Just tried that, it didn't seem to change anything

Ok, go into display config and there should be some options there.

So how do you change options in Snes9x config on a Mac? I've looked everywhere for this config file because the turbo rate message, that comes on screen too frequently, is bothersome. Please let me know how I can find it so I can make the necessary adjustments.
