Xbox 360 controller driver for mac, supported or not?

Hey I have been able to find a driver that makes it so you can use a Xbox 360 controller as a gamepad but I can't seem to figure out how to configure it through snes9x.
Any suggestions out there?

You shouldn't need drivers, Windows should detect it automatically.

Hint in the title is Mac.
I suggest to use Snes9x Mac port's Help feature to answer your question.
