Can anyone ELI5 how to get CG shaders to work?

Trying to run crt-easymode.cg on snes9x-1.55-win32-x64

Installed this https://developer.nvidia.com/cg-toolkit-download

dragged these https://i.imgur.com/bAO9ZRL.png to snes9x's root

I have gotten it to work in the past.. but i've been futzing around for like an hour now lol

From the error message it looks like you tried to download the shader as a html file.
Get the whole common-shaders repository from here:
https://github.com/libretro/common-shad ... master.zip

Then try to load it from the extracted folrder (crt\shaders\crt-easymode.cg)
