snes9x crashes in about 40 minutes every time I launch

Title says it all, I downloaded snes9x yesterday to speedrun Super Metroid, it crashes every time without fail in about 40-45 minutes. The file version is 1.5.2.0 Thanks!

1) you are not using the most up to date version which is v1.54.1 from here:
https://sites.google.com/site/bearoso/
2) you did not even mention what OS you are running and what version of it..??
the above link has Windows 32bit AND NOW Windows 64bit binaries..
plus src if u feel inclined to compile yourself...
