I'd like to know the system requirements of Snes9x for Windows, I can't find them anywhere. Thanks in advance.

the system requirements for Windows XP exceed those of snes9x.

It's in the readme-windows.txt file of the official snes 9x downloads:

System Requirements
-------------------
Windows 98/2000/XP/Vista/7.
DirectX 6.1b or later.
300MHz processor BARE MINIMUM (1GHz+ rec for best settings.)
16MB RAM BARE MINIMUM.
DirectSound capable sound card.

However, Snes9x versions 1.53 & higher do not work on Win98 & Win2000 anymore.
There was a special v1.52 release of snes9x that was made specifically for Win9x/ME.
