Changed the name of ROM, can't use old saves...

Pretty much what the topic says- I was organizing my ROMs and changed the name of Front Mission Series Gun Hazard JP 1.5 AE 2.0)()())() to simply "Front Mission Gun Hazard" and did the same to the save but can no longer load it in the game. I assume I need to go "deeper" into the .srm to associate it with the renamed ROM and was wondering what I should/could do?

all you have to do is rename the srm to match, nothing more. if that's not working, either:
- you typoed something, or
- the srm you renamed isn't actually the one you've been using (can happen if the path isn't defined) - do a full search for *.srm and see if it's actually in a different location.
