How do I run Snes9x on Linux?

I have Ubuntu 14 (.something) and I've googled and searched for some answers on getting Snes9x but the link is always missing or corrupted or the method is too old.
I don't know anything about Ubuntu or Linux so I don't know much about getting around the terminal and what not.
