I could previously save states using Snes9x EX+ on my Galaxy S4 until a recent update.
I am now receiving a File I/O Error whenever I attempt to save a state. The games and app are stored on my external 64GB Micro SD Card. The fact that it was previously working for months but I'm now running into this issue is confusing.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled. Checked to make sure the card and the folders were still writeable.
What am I missing? Is there a solution? If more details are needed, I will provide them.
Thank you!

Re: File I/O Error on Android Galaxy S4
on a unrelated note, thanks for the heads-up buddy, I was gonna have my Note 3 running kitkat by the end of the night, but not with this restriction... guess I'll be wary of this when the S5 and Note 4 come out. Additionally, is it even necessary to say Galaxy whatever, since pretty much the entire Samsung product line nowadays is Galaxy something or other (S-series, Note Series, F-series, Mega series, etc)?odditude wrote:here's your problem.

I get that you're being ironic, but could you elaborate?odditude wrote:here's your problem.
If it was working before, what happened in the update to cause it to stop saving to my ext. SD?

Disregard last post... I didn't realize that was a link. Reading now.
