I have windows10, using Retroarch with Snes9x core and want to play Super Mario World.
All works fine except one most anoying thing: when I press Y and keep it pressed (to run and fly), it behaves as if I rapidly tap it.
So, no running or flying. It just keeps rolling (if it has feather) or firing (if it has fireflower). Just like I am constantly pressing it and releasing.
I presume it's one of the options somewhere. Just can't find it, since I don't know what I am searching for.
Please help!
button hold pressed, behaves as if constantly tapped
Re: button hold pressed, behaves as if constantly tapped
if the controller settings have any Turbo or Auto-Repeat settings, disable them.
alternatively, if you have Steam running in the background, it may be duplicating inputs - if that's the case, try shutting down Steam.

Yup, that was it!
I have speedlink torid, and damn thing was on the whole time. 'Rapid fire', they call it.
Turned it off. Now all works well.
Thanks a bunch man!
