Nintendo Switch Pro Controller Help

I'm trying to map the buttons to my Nintendo Switch Controller, but whenever I click on a button to map it auto fills with (J0) Left and no matter what other buttons I press, it doesn't recognize them. Is there something I'm missing? My controller used to be compatible. Until I updated to the latest build of SNES9X, I had no problems until now.

The same thing happens to me
