Marshmallow upgrade gives me a black screen

I have an LG G4 running android 6.0 aka Marshmallow. Used Snes9x before the upgrade with out any issues. However, after the upgrade in now get a black screen and only sound no matter what game I play. Before someone decides to be a jerk and tell me to google it, I already did. Several suggestions and none of them work. emailed the developer and I'm getting ignored. Tried every video configuration I can think of and nothing is working. I'm frustrated, rating this app a 1, and need some help.

unfortunately, you're far more likely to get a helpful response from the developer than here.

for the record, Snes9xEX+ current version (1.5.28) works for me on a Moto X (2014) running 6.0, so i can't reproduce your problem.

Wrote the developers twice and didn't even get a respond that they even got it.

Try this:

Options > Video > GPU Copy Mode > Standard

Hey guys, just to let you know. I have an LG G4 with marshmallow as well and I tried the GPU setting and that fixed my black screen problem. Thank you very much!
