Kirby's Dreamland 3 Water/Trees are not transparent

I got the emulator purely to play KDL3, and the first few levels were fine, but now I can't go on because the trees in the last part of the first stage are supposed to be transparent. Any ideas for how to fix it?

I'd suggest downloading the latest Snes9x and trying that. You're using an older version which may have bugs/issues/etc. Always use the latest version before posting about issues.
