Snes 9x on Nvidia shield - menu systems issue

Hey all. Sorry if this has been posted before but when navigating the menus to load games I cannot view the options due to the display not fitting my tv correctly. I think I need to change the resolution it displays on my tv as I can only view about half of each option which makes navigating to my SD card impossible. Thanks for any help you can give.
