PC save states onto IOS snes

Beat Chrono a while back on snes but not completely and lost all my progress. Wondering how I would download the save states and load them onto my iPhone. I've tried many times renaming the files and such, nothing would budge. The Chrono file is a .SMC. While the save states I want to use are .smc and .srm. Please help thanks!
