Unable to initialize XAudio2

Unable to initialize XAudio2

I tried running snes9x 1.53 with wine on Ubuntu 14.04, but it says that there will be no sound. How do I solve this?

Go into sound settings and change it to "snes9x direct sound" and that should stop the errors.

Continuation of the previous issue - there is no XAudio2 error now, but when I load a rom, nothing happens.
