Mac OS X - video modes and OpenGL

Post by ameath »

Is there a way to add additional video modes and/or OpenGL shaders to the default options in the Mac OS X build 1.5.3 (113)?

I do not like the 'TV' video mode compared with the HDR-TV opengl shader included with BSNES. I see that it is possible to import BSNES shaders into the Windows build of SNES9x.

I suspect the Mac version does not support this, yet? :?

I solved my own problem by using OpenEmu with the built-in SNES9X core.

Performace from the plugin is superior to the stand-alone Mac build of SNES9X, and supports the installation of additional CG shaders as required. :)

hi. how'd you add more shaders? did you also get the scale option to work? mine is greyed out.
