Hi!
Play Super Mario World 2 - Yoshi's Island and saw slowing. For example Chapter 3 Level 1 with monkeys. (snes9x 32)
On the emulator SnesGT no slowdowns.
Is this a bug?
thanks

That slowdown is happening because of the monkeys swinging across the trees behind Yoshi and the monkey spitting seeds at Yoshi. Whats weird it does not happen in the ZSNES version.
Must be some slowdown problem, The slowdown happens in both 32 & 64 bit versions of Snes9x 1.53.
This is probably in part to the inefficient Super FX emulation core that Snes9x currently has. MarioSuper, what hardware specifications do you have on your computer? (CPU, RAM, OS, etc.)

What operating system are you using? 32 or 64bit? Version of Snes9x? Is the text at the bottom of the window white when you load the game?
These suggestions are usually the solution to your issue!

So it has something to do with the Super FX emulation.

I am not directly involved with development, but I can typically fix common problems that people encounter and such.

Really?. if so what will it take to fix those slowdown problems.
it'll take two things.
first, it'll take the developers spending their personal time (outside of job, family, and the like) to refine the emulation core.
second, it'll take some patience from the end users - if it were a trivial issue, it would've already been fixed (or you would've fixed it yourself and shared the code with the community).
