Hi Ya'll!
So im having problems on my new Imac running snow leopard with snes9x.
I cant seem to move left, for example while playing Street Fighter Alpha, the character cant move left (backwards), it will occasionally block or glitch backwards very slowly but that's about it. The strange thing is, is that it doesn't seem to be a problem when choosing a character in the menu left seems to work perfectly well but is non existent while playing the game.
Ive tried the ROM on ZSNES and moving left works just fine, but i don't want to use ZSNES cause its...well just a bit crap!
Im also using an old xbox s controller, but this doesn't seem to be the problem because the same happens when using the keyboard.
Im also runnig the same copy of snes9x on my MBP (leopard) and that seems to work pefectally with the same ROM, so now Im stumped? what the hell is going on?
Any help would be much appreciated!

can you provide ROM output info (eg: the ROM information, the NSRT information, or what color text snes9x displays)?

re:Can't Move Left
I'm having the same exact issue with my MBP 10.6.8
I've used 2 different TOMEE SNES controllers and now have tried my Wii Classic Controller.
I can't any games to let me go left.

Hi
Had the same issue. Check auto fire isn't set to left (mine was, probably due to a keyboard short cut).
Go to automatic fire option in the controls menu and hit 'Default'.
Now it's working for me. Finally!
